The Kay Picture Dominant Eye Test Box simplifies the process of determining the patient’s dominant eye. When children struggle with aspects of learning to read it is important to know which eye is dominant in case it differs from the dominant hand. This condition, called cross laterality, is known to cause certain specific difficulties with reading, writing, and telling left from right.
It is very quick and easy for children to understand. The Dominant Eye Test Box is simply held at arm’s length, the star is aligned in the circle and held steady while each eye is covered in turn. A yes or no answer is all that is required. Full instructions are included.
The box is made from wipe-clean plastic and provided in easy to assemble flat pack with full testing instructions.
