The Frosted Occluder is for use during the cover test and vision testing.

When used during the cover test, this occluder provides total form occlusion, yet allows light into the eye behind the occluder. This can be especially useful in assessing the 3 components of dissociated vertical divergence (elevation, excyclotorsion, and abduction).

During vision testing, a frosted occluder can be useful in achieving the best visual acuity from someone with manifest or latent nystagmus.

The Frosted Occluder is very durable and can be cleaned with soap and water.
