Frosted Occluder

Description

The frosted Occluder is for use during the cover test and vision testing.

When used during the cover test, this occluder provides total form occlusion, yet allows light into the eye behind the occluder. This can be especially useful in assessing the 3 components of dissociated vertical divergence (elevation, excyclotorsion, and abduction).

During vision testing, a frosted occluder can be useful in achieving the best visual acuity from someone with manifest or latent nystagmus.

Metric and inch measurements are provided on one side of the handle, pupil gauge on the other.

The frosted Occluder is very durable and can be cleaned with alcohol and non-solvent based sanitiser.
